Padyatra under Nasha Mukt Abhiyan
A grand padyatra was organised by the District Administration Anantnag under the leadership of Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha as part of the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan to spread awareness against drug abuse and promote a healthy, drug-free society.
The padyatra witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, officials, and members of the general public. NCC Cadets of ARMY GOODWILL SCHOOL WUZUR along with ANO's Dr Anees Abdullah and Mrs Masrat Yaqoob were also the part of the rally. Participants carried placards and raised slogans highlighting the harmful effects of substance abuse and the importance of staying away from drugs.
The initiative aimed to educate the youth about the dangers of narcotics and encourage collective responsibility in building a safe and addiction-free society. The District Administration reiterated its commitment towards creating awareness and strengthening community participation in the fight against drug abuse.
The programme concluded with a pledge by all participants to support the mission of a “Nasha Mukt Bharat” and work together for a brighter and healthier future.
