AGS Wuzur Students Excel in Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship Boot Camp

The Innovation Club at AGS Wuzur has distinguished itself yet again, as its teachers and students showcased exceptional talent at a two-day Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship Boot Camp. Organized by the Ministry of Education's (MoE) Innovation Cell, the event unfolded from April 4th to April 5th, 2024, hosted at the esteemed SSM College of Engineering in Baramulla.
The inaugural ceremony witnessed the esteemed presence of Mrs. Pooja Rawat, Innovation Officer of MoE's Innovation Cell. Throughout the IDE Boot Camp, participants were privileged to engage with renowned speakers, design experts, and incubation heads on a national scale, who conducted technical training sessions aimed at honing the innovative prowess of attendees.
This pioneering initiative was meticulously crafted to train student innovators, alongside teachers and principals from both PM Shri and Non-PM Shri Schools across India. Spanning 18 centers across 14 states/UTs, the boot camp delivered comprehensive training, emphasizing the adoption of a human-centric approach in identifying opportunities and mastering skills essential for developing customer-centric products and services.
Students were provided with a solid foundation in innovation, guiding them through various stages of design to enhance their creative thinking and cultivate innovative ideas. It is noteworthy that the Bharti Airtel Foundation has been instrumental in supporting schools, particularly by closely collaborating with Innovation Clubs, to foster a culture of innovation among students.
