On the auspicious occasion of Independence Day a painting/ drawing competition was organised in which students participated on the theme “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” and presented captivating cultural performances. The best performances were felicitated by Major Gagan vats, appreciating the students’ talent and dedication.
Independence Day Celebration at AGS Wuzur AGS, Wuzur celebrated Independence Day with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Principal, Mr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, followed by a spirited Tiranga Rally that echoed the students’ love for the nation. Adding colour and creativity to the occasion, students participated in a drawing competition on the theme “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” and presented captivating cultural performances. The best performances were felicitated by Major Gagan vats, appreciating the students’ talent and dedication.
District-Level Inter-School Karate Championship. AGS Wuzur Shines at District-Level Inter-School Karate Championship AGS Wuzur delivered an impressive performance at the District-Level Inter-School Karate Championship for the AAG Boys & Girls category, organised by the District Youth Services & Sports Office, Anantnag, at FSLD Fighters Club, Anantnag. The school showcased outstanding sporting talent, securing an impressive 16 medals — 11 Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze.
AGS Wuzur Honoured at ARISE Excellence Awards 2025. We are proud to announce that AGS Wuzur has received the Special Jury Recognition Award at the prestigious ARISE Excellence Awards by FICCI , held on September 13, 2025 , at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi . Out of 2,200 entries nationwide, only 18 National Awards and 7 Special Jury Recognitions were presented—making this a remarkable achievement.
On account of "School Sports Day " Department of Youth Service & Sports ,Zone Qazigund organized a sports meet in which shining stars of AGS Wuzur participated actively and won medals and certificates bringing laurels to our school.
